Solo acoustic version of “ok” from Hola, Sayulita! (2010), and also included on my early-years greatest hits collection Your Song Is Beautiful: 2002-2012 (2012).

This performance is from March 2021 in the old Hood’s Sarsaparilla Soda factory, my temporary home Lowell, MA for the last 8 months. We leave Lowell for good in ~2 weeks on 7/31.…

Torrada Torrada (“Toast! Toast!”) is a Brazilian cooking show hosted by Luanda Gazoni. Two weeks ago, they used my track ok off of Hola, Sayulita! and Reflected.10×10 as a soundtrack to making perfect fluffy rice (vid embedded below, too). This time, Man Again, the Free Music Archive bonus track off Transient Lines, serves as a soundtrack to the creation of a carrot cake with chocolate ganache icing (recipe in Portuguese).…

My wife, Cat, is an xclnt, award-winning film & tv costume designer, and my front row seat to her work is electrifying and teeming with inspiration. That said, her job takes her away from me, sometimes quite distant, for very long stretches.

When she filmed Kill Bill in 2002, she shuttled between Los Angeles, Tokyo and Beijing for 8 months, came home to NYC for 1 week and then went to Mexico and LA for 3 more months.…
