Our Laurel Canyon cottage, halfway up an eastern hillside (this view is NE), acts as an aerie. Morning cool brings echoes of goats from the canyon floor, while afternoon warmth brings the distinctive drone of insatiable hummingbirds on nectar crawls. [LA❤️, day 3/180]
